Fans Are Canceling Their Netflix Subscriptions Now That ‘One Tree Hill’ Is Coming To Hulu

If you’re a fan of Lucas Scott and his writing, Peyton Sawyer and her drawings, and the true love that is Nathan and Hailie Scott–you were probably super depressed when you found out One Tree Hill was leaving Netflix for good four months back. The show, which aired in the early 2000’s is one of those teen drama classics that you can watch over and over again. I mean–I watched OTH live for years, all the way until the very last episode. There were times when I was feeling down and needed a quick visit to Karen’s Café or needed to remind myself–life sucks, but at least I don’t have Dan Scott for a father–so, I’d throw on an episode of the series. But, when Netflix did away with it, I was stuck to only dream about my favorite town in North Carolina. People on Twitter were not happy when Netflix did away with their favorite TV show.

Fans even petitioned to get Netflix to bring back their favorite TV show, by creating petitions on (some racked up over 5,000 signatures). While it’s not enough to bring forth change, it is enough for competitors of Netflix to pick up on some important information–like, Hulu.
